Cheam Pre-Prep Jubilee Concert 2024

Date 19 Mar 2024
Time 2:00 pm
Location Sports Hall, Cheam

This year Cheam is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Pre-Prep. As part of our celebrations, we invite families and alumni to our Pre-Prep Jubilee Anniversary Concert, on Thursday 19th March, 2.00pm to 4.00pm. It promises to be a joyful time of music making and afternoon tea!

The theme for the concert is Noah’s Ark and children from Nursery to Year 2 will be centre stage, showcasing their passion and love of music that we cultivate through our talented musical, teaching team. In addition, all those pupils now in the Prep, who were in the Pre-Prep, are invited to join the Pre-Prep choir to perform together in the final number.

The concert is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together to celebrate and share some special musical performances.

We are delighted to welcome back Cheam old girl Megan Harley-Martin, who started her musical journey in the Pre-Prep and is now the first ever female Tenor Choral Scholar at St Peter’s College, Oxford.

The Pre-Prep sits at the heart of the school and is admired by every visitor who comes to Cheam.  Since its inception in 1999, and the opening of the Duke of Edinburgh building in 2012, hundreds of children have benefitted from the happy, inspiring and supportive environment we offer our youngest year groups. We feel very privileged to be leading the department at this special time in its history.

Do join us in marking this special moment in Cheam’s history.
