Cheam Summer Camp – Children Year 2 to Year 8

Camp Leader – Nick Milbank

The Summer Camp at Cheam School has been running for nearly 30 years. The aim of the camp is to have fun. It is not a coaching course but an activity camp, designed for Children currently in Year 2 to those in Year 8. The days start at 9.30 am and finish at 4.30 pm. We base our fun around traditional games and activities designed by our enthusiastic and energetic staff. The expectation of the children is to take an active role in all the activities and be willing and enthusiastic. Children will be very active so expect them to be tired! Typical activities include: Hare and Hounds, Hide in the Woods, Pirates, Crazy Relays, Non-Stop Cricket, Rounders, Tennis, Football, Swimming, Stuck in the Mud, Treasure Hunts, Cops and Robbers, The Tag Game, Mat Ball, Capture the Flag, It’s Knock Out and others!

Revision Camp – Year 8 Cheam pupils

Camp Leaders Helen Mason, Simon Curtis and Stuart Summers

The idea behind the camp is to provide the Common Entrance candidates with a real boost in the core subjects of English, Maths and Science, through quality teaching, as they prepare for their final exams in the Summer Term. It is hoped that they will gain in confidence, exam technique and knowledge whilst feeling well-prepared. It is very much intended that every pupil will leave the week with renewed confidence and an eagerness to get on with the final weeks of preparation. We provide a focused and structured revision package, which aims to boost confidence.
