Year 8 have been working on translation skills, they worked together to dissect the passage by identifying a variety of grammar points to make the translation easy. Mr Bastide’s Year 8 class have been working on the relative pronoun. The children were given one form of the 30 forms of the pronoun and told to stand up if their pronoun was a certain case, gender or number. Great to see some active learning! Nominative neuters, as we all know, can be somewhat tricky, well done Louis for spotting that it could easily be both which and because. 7SC have just started the passive voice and became a human verb table.
