CPC | Sustainability Workshop

Year 3 received a special treat in CPC. Mark Little, Head Groundsman, led a workshop on sustainability at our school. With a national initiative involving planting trees, they looked at some of the tree species currently at Cheam, the connected wildlife and how Mark and his team manage it through a 7-year cycle. Having looked at the trees, birds, insects, small mammals and fungi, Year 3 headed outside to plant a mixture of English Oak, Silver Birch and Rowan trees.
