Development | Sustainabilty | Community | Cheam School

During the break our Estates and Property management teams have been incredibly busy, developing various projects onsite and within the community.

The servery has been completely refurbished with a special focus on time and motion. Coupled with the new school timetable, the design creates a better experience for the children, giving them more time to choose and eat their food which is presented in a way to promote healthy and nutritional choices. Our new food waste bins integrate with the grounds composting bays and greenhouse, these also offer educational opportunities as part of our sustainability agenda. New showers have been added to the sports hall and provide a space with plenty of privacy for the children.

Cheam has also donated a white line marking machine to Ashford Hill and Headley Parish Council to create an adult pitch that they can rent out to teams. This will be a great way for them to raise funds for their community.
