Science Club Experiments

Some exciting experiments were taking place in science club this week. The pupils had enormous fun with balloons, first exploring their elasticity and strength by making balloon kebabs and then making expanding balloon faces by exploiting the chemical reaction between sodium hydrogen carbonate and ethanoic acid! The children also made lava lamps out of household ingredients and Mrs Billinger was seriously impressed with their laboratory expertise and care. Fizzy fun for all!
