The Year 7s enjoyed a splendid morning down at the Cheam river just before the Exeat. It was a perfect opportunity to get out of the classroom and see some Geographical processes happening in the flesh. The Year Group are looking at rivers and coasts as part of their syllabus and we introduced the topic by exploring all the different processes which are occurring in the river. We discussed erosion, transportation and deposition and the children drew an annotated sketch map of the site we visited. It was a very enjoyable morning and the children enjoyed their morning of outdoor learning.Flickr album: Y7 Geography Fieldwork – Sep 2020 | Height: auto | Theme: Default
