To ensure we have sufficient funds to support Bursaries and Capital Projects at Cheam we would be so grateful for your support.

We welcome participation at any level and you can make an impact on the lives of children by making a one-off donation, or pledging regular support to The Cheam Foundation.

To ensure we respect your wishes and allocate your donation to your preferred fund (Bursary Fund, Capital Projects Fund or Discretionary Fund), please complete a Donation Form and return it to us by email foundation@cheamschool.co.uk or post (Foundation Office, Cheam School, Headley, Newbury, Berkshire RG19 8LD) when you make your donation.  Gift Aid makes a significant difference.

If you are a UK tax payer, please complete the Gift Aid section on our Donation Form and The Cheam Foundation will receive an extra 25p for every £1 you give.

Ways to donate to the Foundation

By Bank Transfer

Please contact the Foundation Office for bank account details.

By Standing Order

Regular donations provide The Cheam Foundation with a regular income and enable us to plan for the future. These can be made by Standing Order on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.  Please contact the Foundation Office for a Standing Order Instruction Form.

By cheque

You can make a one-off donation with a cheque made payable to The Cheam Foundation.

Shares and Securities

Individuals can obtain a double form of tax relief by donating gifts of equities and we are very grateful to receive gifts in this form.  Please note the Foundation Office is unable to give financial advice.  Seek professional tax advice and contact HMRC for more information.

Gifts from CAF

The Cheam Foundation is very grateful for donations via CAF. Please make CAF cheques payable to The Cheam Foundation and quote our charity number 1177913.  Please note CAF cheques do not attract tax relief.

BSUF Donation

If you are a US tax payer, The Cheam Foundation is recognized as an institution that can receive BSUF grants.

You can choose to direct your bequest to a particular cause or ask to set up a prize or scholarship in your name.  If you would like to discuss a particular bequest, please contact the Foundation Office.

Not all of our donors know how they would like their contributions to be allocated; often donors are keen to support the school and happy to leave the decision on how their donation is spent to the school.  If this is the case, you can be assured that your donation will support the area of greatest need.  Whether it’s for Capital Projects or Bursaries, your gift will create meaningful opportunities for future generations.
